Realm Walkers Notice

Wow, it’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve posted on here.  There is a reason, one that I can’t fully explain, and I don’t know if I completely understand, but there is a reason.  I plan to have a post hopefully explaining it in a couple of weeks.  But for now, I am addressing the lack of Realm Walker posts there have been since March.  Well, I can assure that Ellie had a valid and legit reason for not being able to write her post in April.  As for me… I don’t.  Except for the reason I will explain in a couple of weeks.  And I’ve been planning to catch up, but I’ve been really busy.  Today, I finally have time to sit down and catch up on the three missing Realm Walkers story, but I came across a problem.
You see, my family has been in the process of selling, buying, and moving since back in February, and in the midst of this we’ve slowly been packing.  Well, we’ve finally moved out, but we can’t move into the house we’re buying for another couple weeks, so we’ve been living out of duffel bags.  And I thought I had a few writing stuff in this bag- one of the items being mine and Ellie’s Realm Walkers notebook (complete with all of our outlines and plans for Addy and Thacia for the next while).  Unfortunately, I found out this morning, that I accidentally packed that book away.  Yeah, huge bummer.

So, Realm Walkers is at a stand still for now until my family moves into our new house.  Hopefully, that’s soon.

Baker Street

Addy and Thacia have entered a new realm! Eliana and I are very excited about this world, and have several ideas for it. We would also like to apologize for how badly written the stories on the Percy Jackson world were. We promise we're going to do better with this new realm, and the ones to come. So, this next story, I have written, and it is set in the fantastic world of BBC's Sherlock. Enjoy!

Thacia and Addy stared down Baker street, watching as a man strolled quietly into an apartment.  Being the adventurers and stalkers they were, they followed closely behind, into the apartment building.  They creaked up the stairs behind him.  Something nagged at the back of Thacia’s mind, something just sudden, that made her stop in her tracks, but she ignored it, and walked on.  As she and Addy reached the top of the stairs, they heard the conversation between the man they had followed, and another man, who they both quickly recognized.  Sherlock.  A broad demented smile stretched across Thacia’s face.  She wanted to laugh for joy and victory, but then, of course, that would give the two of them away.  So she kept her mouth shut.
Thacia listened closely, reminding herself she was listening to a possibly historic conversation.  A conversation between the genius mind of Sherlock Holmes, and the infamous, demented Moriarty.  Who both Thacia and Addy stalked.  “Every fairytale needs a good old fashioned villain,” Moriarty said.
Thacia’s smile broadened, and her eyes got wide at the genius words.  Addy turned around to Thacia, and was also smiling at the genius and truth in those words.  Moriarty was still talking, “You’re on the side of the angels,” he said disappointedly, then pausing.
Now Sherlock, completely ignored Moriarty, said instead, “Got the jury, of course.”
“I got into the Tower of London, you don’t think I can’t worm my way into twelve hotel rooms?”  Moriarty replied.
“Cable network,” Sherlock replied, obviously just coming to this conclusion.
Bloody brilliant!  Thacia thought.  Not that she’d ever do it- well, maybe- but just bloody brilliant!  “Every person has their pressure point,” Moriarty continued, "Someone they want to keep from harm.  Easy peasy.”
“So how are you going to do it?”  Sherlock asked, changing the subject again, “Burn me.”  You could hear the mockery in his voice.
“Oh, that’s the problem.  The final problem.  Have you worked out what it is yet?  What’s the final problem?  I did tell you, but did you listen?”  he sang the last part, and then there was a pause.  “How hard do you find it?  Having to say I don’t know.”
Addy, in front of Thacia, turned around to Thacia, and whispered, “They change subjects a lot.”
“I know!”  Thacia mouthed, completely insane as always.
Thacia watched as Addy crossed her eyes, then turned back to the conversation, where Moriarty was laughing and calling Sherlock clever.  “Have you told your little friends yet?”  he then asked.
  “Told them what?”  Sherlock asked.
“Why I broke into all those places and never took anything.”
“No,” Sherlock answered- the least amount of words Thacia had ever heard come out of him.  She gaped dramatically, but quietly, and to herself.
  “But you understand?”
“Obviously." This time, Addy turned to Thacia, and gaped at her, and Thacia almost laughed.
Moriarty had said something in that moment, then Sherlock replied, “You want me to tell you what you already know?”
“No, I want you to prove you know it,” Moriarty answered.
  “You didn’t take anything . . . because you don’t need to.”
  “Good.”
“You’ll never need to take anything ever again.”
“Very good . . . Because?”  Moriarty prodded Sherlock for answers.
“Because nothing- nothing- in the bank of England or the tower of London, or the Pentonville prison, could possibly match the value of the key that could get you into all three.”
“I could open any door, anywhere, with a few tiny lines of computer code.  There’s no such thing as a private bank account now.  They’re all mine.  There’s no such thing as secrecy, I own secrecy.  Nuclear codes, I could blow up nations in alphabetical order.  In a world of locked rooms, the man with the key is king- and honey, you should see me in a crown,” Moriarty sang the last sentence as a drawn out line.
Thacia whispered into Addy’s ear, “What is with him and singing?”
Addy turned and faced Thacia, and mouthed, “I know!”
Then they both turned back to the conversation, where Sherlock was talking again, “You could break into any bank, but you care about the highest bidder?”
“I don’t.  I just like to watch them all competing.  Daddy, loves me the best.  Aren’t ordinary people adorable?  Well you know, you’ve got John.  I should get myself a live in one.”
“Why are you doing all this?”  Sherlock suddenly asked, clearly at a lost.  Gosh, Sherlock.  Don’t you know anything?
“Must be so funny,” Moriarty spoke over Sherlock.  From the way he obliviously said it, he seemed to still be on the subject of ordinary people.
“You don’t want money, or power, not really.  What is it all for?”  Sherlock asked, again, still contemplating.
Thacia wanted to laugh in Sherlock’s face.  Moriarty answered, “I want to solve the problem.  Our problem.  The final problem.  It’s gonna start very soon, Sherlock.  The fall… But don’t be scared.  Falling’s just like flying, except there’s a more permanent destination.”
Thacia heard one of them stand, and the other followed.  “I never liked riddles,” Sherlock said.
“Learn to,” Moriarty responded.  “Because I owe you a fall, Sherlock.  I...O...U…”
Then Thacia and Addy heard Moriarty begin to leave the room, and they quickly hid.  Moriarty strolled passed them, as both Thacia and Addy tried to keep from laughing along with their insanity.  After the door shut downstairs, Sherlock spoke from inside his flat, while playing the violin, “You two can come out now.”
Dying of laughter, they barreled into the room.  “Stop your bumbling, and tell me what you’re doing here,” Sherlock stated, clearly annoyed.
He practically threw down his violin, tossing it off his shoulder.  After Thacia and Addy got a grip on their laughter, they calmed… and then laughed again.  Thacia could see Sherlock standing in front of them, completely perturbed, and waiting for an explanation.  Addy was first to recover, so she answered through her breaths, as Thacia continued to laugh her head off.  “Oh, gosh.  You two are mad,” Sherlock complained, as Addy began talking.
“Well, we saw Moriarty strolling along the street, and Thacia said, ‘Hey, isn’t he supposed to be in jail?’  And then I said, ‘Well actually, the jury said he wasn’t guilty, and let him go, and blah, blah, blah.’  And so, we continued discussing this, and finally we realized we were following him, so we just said, ‘Hey-”
“Oh, stop rambling,” Sherlock interrupted as he turned away, staring out the window.
Thacia had finally caught her breath, and she objected to his statement, “We’ll ramble if we want to ramble!”
“Anyways, why are you here?”  Sherlock asked.
“Because-” Thacia to answer, but something stopped her in her mind.
She stayed silent, trying to figure it out.  But Addy jumped in for her, answering.  Although, Thacia thought her voice sounded unsure of itself too.  “We came for an adventure, because we got bored, and were sick and tired.”
Sherlock barely glanced behind him, hardly catching a glimpse of Thacia and Addy.  “You’re not sick,” he sniffed the air, “And you smell of the sea.”
“Well, you smell of the sea!”  Thacia argued.
“Oh, don’t speak, Thacia.  You lower the IQ on the entire street,” Sherlock said, still staring out the window.
“Hey!”  Addy shouted, suddenly perturbed, “You got that from me!  I said that to you!”  Addy turned to Thacia, and started talking, “Thacia, he stole that from me.  Can you believe he stole that from me?”
Sherlock grabbed them by their coats, “Alright, come on.  You can ramble outside.”
Sherlock pulled Thacia and Addy downstairs, as they yelled at him for taking Addy’s line.  “You’re just jealous, because you haven’t come up with any genius lines,” Addy said, “Only my brother and I can come up with them.”
Sherlock walked them down the stairs outside, let go, and walked back in, shutting the door.  “I can’t believe he stole your line!” Thacia said, stomping her foot.
  “I know,” Addy responded.
“It makes me so…” she paused, then smiled, “Perturbed.”
Addy stared at her weirdly, “Since when do you use the word, perturbed?”
Thacia shrugged, “It’s my new favorite word.”
Then they both started laughing.  “He doesn’t even know!”  Thacia shouted, laughing.
  “And never will,” Addy replied.

Then they walked down Baker Street, laughing like maniacs.

Left Behind... Again

Happy leap day, readers!  Today is another day of Realm Walkers, on leap day, no less (have I ever mentioned Addy and Thacia love leap day?).  This one is written by Eliana Maddox, and I'm sure you will find the surprise at the end quite fascinating.  Anyways, enjoy the next adventure.

Addy was waiting impatiently for Thalia to finish her recap of the adventure they had after leaving the dam.  Because of her impatience, she missed most of what Thalia said.  Addy looked at Thacia after Thalia finished.  “What did she say happened?”  Addy whispered.
“I have no idea,” Thacia replied.
“Oh.  All I got was that we need to get to the top of that mountain to rescue Artemis, but we already knew that part.”  Addy sighed.
She turned her attention back to the group in front of them.  Grover was using his satyr powers to communicate to the Ophiotaurus.  Addy looked toward the ginormous mountain to her right.  They were going to have to climb that?  All the way to the top?  She was always ready for another adventure, but her legs kind of ached at the thought of climbing something so tall you couldn’t see the top because it was hidden in the tallest clouds.   Addy turned to Thacia who had followed her gaze to the mountain.  “Well this’ll be fun!”  Thacia said.
“I know!  But my legs are gonna be so sore afterwards,” Addy replied.
“Maybe we don’t have to climb… Maybe!  they’ll do some magic-god- thingy to get us to the top!”
“Oooh!”  Addy liked the sound of that.  She turned to get an answer from Zoe, when she saw they were gone again.  “What?  Again!?  What is this!?”  she shouted, devastated.
“Fine!  We can tell when we’re not wanted!”  Thacia shouted too.
They didn’t shout in any particular direction, seeing as they had no idea which way their companions had gone.  Addy walked over next to some beach bum’s chair and sat down.  Thacia followed.  “Man,” Addy said, “They always leave us behind.”
  “I know,” replied Thacia.
“It’s gotta be hard work saving the world, I mean.”
“Yeah…  but we coulda helped,” Thacia said somewhat quietly.
They both sat in silence for a moment, watching the waves roll.  There was definitely a storm coming, but it was no natural disaster, it was the cause of those stupid titans.  Addy started to mess with the hair tie on her wrist out of boredom, when suddenly she remembered the Portalian nailpolish in her pocket.  She pulled it out and stared at the label.  “We never did find out what this was,” Addy stated, jerking Thacia’s attention.  “It was just in my pocket when we talked about those weird dreams we had.”
“Yeah, that was weird.  You’re not a daughter of Aphrodite!”  Thacia shouted, repeating what she had said the first time they discovered it.
“You already said that!”  Addy shouted back.
“I know!  I just needed to make it clear.”
Addy opened the nail polish and started writing, ‘Addy was here,’ on the wall behind them.  “What are you doing!?”  Thacia asked.
“What does it look like I’m doing?”  was the indignant response.  When Addy had finished, Thacia sntached the bottle yelled, “My turn!”  and started writing underneath.  Thacia got through the words, ‘Thacia was-’ before the bottle ran out of polish.
“You used to much!”  Thacia shouted.
“No, I didn’t!  See!  I didn’t even do it that big!”
“Stupid nail polish!”  Thacia said as she threw the bottle down.
It landed no more than five feet away.  There was a sudden flash of bright light.  Where the bottle had landed and was now a circle about three feet in diameter, with a whole new scene then the scene that was there a moment ago.  Addy stepped closer.  It was a street.  “This is weird,” Thacia said.
“Yeah, I know!  It’s kinda like the end of that crazy dream we had.  You know, except with nail polish and not a rock, and it was sand and not a wall.  But the point stands,” Addy rambled.
“What’re you two up to now?”  asked a familiar voice.  It came from the man occupying the seat next to them.  Once again, Addy recognized him as her father, Apollo, in disguise.
“Oh, nothing!  Just a bit of trouble, that’s all.”  Addy answered.
“Oh, I see.  Well, you two girls enjoy yourselves.  Where you headed?”  he questioned.
“Uhm… Baker Street!”  Thacia answered this time, reading the street sign from below.
“Ah, have fun,” he said again before disappearing.
Addy and Thaca glanced at each other one more time, both sets of eyes sparkling with curiousity.  And with that, they jumped to greet their new adventure.

Traveling takes Patience

“Hermes!”  Thacia shouted at the top of her lungs, “We need you!”
Beside her, Addy shouted also.  Thacia placed her finger in her ear, plugging it viciously, “Do you need to be so loud?!”  Thacia asked, “I’m right here!”
Addy placed her palms over her ears, “Well, you don’t have to be so loud too!”
“I can be as loud as I want!”  Thacia shouted.
Thacia and Addy began arguing until they heard a groan from behind them.  “Girls, I’m right here.  No need to shout so loud.”
Thacia turned around, at the same time Addy did.  It was Hermes standing in front of them.  “So, what can I do for my two favorite demigods?”  he asked with a smile.
Thacia smirked at the sentence.  That was right.  She and Addy were his favorites.  Blow that in your face, Dad!  Addy launched into a very detailed and frustrated explanation of how they had gotten left behind.  Thacia put in a few nasty comments directed toward the abandoners too.  “So, we need you to take us to San Francisco,” Addy finished explaining.
He nodded and smiled, “Anything for my two favorite thieving demigods.”
“Now, before we go, we’re assuming you have some pretty funny stories of our dads today,” Addy asked.
Hermes nodded, “Yes.  We were talking just the other day, wondering how you two are not my kids.  I mean, don’t get offended, but you two are more like me than your fathers.”
“That’s because the world knew it couldn’t handle us as sisters,” Thacia answered.
Hermes rolled his eyes, “You two pretty much are sisters.”
Addy leaned into Hermes, raising her brow, “Exactly.  Imagine how much more horrifying we’d be as sisters.”
Hermes laughed, “Don’t even give me that thought.”
“So you taken us or what?!”  Thacia asked.
  Hermes nodded, “Traveling takes patience.”
“Wow, that was a wise saying for you, Hermes,” Addy commented.
Hermes stopped for a moment, looking away, “You’re right.  I’m getting to old.”
Thacia crossed her arms, waiting- trying to be patient-for the ride.  Hermes saw how impatient Thacia was getting, and rolled his eyes, “If you have to be in such a rush.”
Hermes snapped his fingers, and instantly the scenery changed.  It was horrible, loud, and smelly.  It was definitely San Francisco.  Hermes was still in front of us, and he pointed behind us.  “Your friends are right there, surrounded, and about to destroy the world.  Have fun.”  Then Hermes disappears.
Thacia turned and smiled at Addy, “This looks like fun!”
At her words, the monsters who surrounded their friends turned to Thacia and Addy.  Two broke off from the group, to run after us.  “Yes!”  Thacia shouted in triumphant glory, and saw Addy smile beside her.  “Let the excitement begin!”
And it certainly did.  For the next forty-five seconds, they fought the monsters off, and killed them.  When the last of the two were dead, Thacia turned to Addy and high fived her.  “No sweat!”
Addy high fived her, than frowned.  “What?”  Thacia asked.
“They’re leaving us again,” Addy said, as she passed Thacia, and sprinted after them.
“Again!?”  Thacia yelled, as she turned and followed Addy.
After a few minutes of running, they caught up, and they all stopped.  Thacia furrowed her brow at the sight of an sea cow in the ocean beside them, and Grover slipping into it.  “What’s that again?”  Thacia asked.
  “That’s an Ophiotaurus,” Addy answered.
Thacia nodded, and she and Addy cleared their throats at the same time.  Percy, Zoe, and Thalia all turned around to face them.  “All right,” Thacia said.  Addy continued, “Update.”

Burrito Fight

Addy and Thacia walked a good 20 feet head of the group.  They weren’t quite sure where they were going, but everyone else was walking way too slow.  Addy kept looking over her shoulder to make sure the group was still following.  Everyone had been down since the fight with Talos.  Percy especially; he blamed himself for Bianca’s death.  Though, most of them did, because, as Addy had learned, that just happens to be what people do when someone dies.  Thacia brought it up again a little bit later.  “I don’t understand why they are all still sad.”  she said
“I know!  You’ think they’d get over it.”  Addy replied.
“We already told them she wasn’t dead!”  Thacia shouted, so the group believed them could hear.
“Precisely!  Because people don’t die… Well, they do, but not like that… at least not the people we know, and like.  It just doesn’t happen!”
  “Exactly!”  Thacia agreed.
They reached a river.  Addy thought it was the Hudson, but she wasn’t sure, she had a horrible sense of direction.  They walked along the edge, avoiding the cliff.  A ways down there was a few canoes and a boathouse.  Addy stood back with Thacia as Percy wrote a note and left some money.  Then the rest of them climbed into the little boats.  Zoe looked back and asked if they were coming, as naiads started pushing the boat.  “No!”  Thacia shouted, and Addy followed her to another boat.
“We’ll catch our own!”  Addy shouted as they got some oars, climbed in a boat and started catching up.
The boats being pushed by naiads stated to get ahead.  Addy got annoyed, but she was by no means going to have naiads push her boat.  She did not like them, they didn’t like her and it was the same for Thacia.  Suddenly a wind blew and Addy noticed they were starting to catch up.  She looked questioningly at Thacia.  “Remember, Eurus owed us a favor.”  Thacia said excitedly.
Addy thought really hard, trying to place a face with the name.  “Eurus.  Eurus… Euuuuruuus.”  she repeated in different voices, then it hit her.  “Eurus!  God of the east wind!  Why was that so hard to remember?”
“I don’t know!!”  Thacia shouted in her face, seemingly for no reason.
Not to long after they caught up, Addy saw that they were rapidly approaching the Hoover Dam.  They all got out of the canoes and made their way to the entrance of the dam.  Barely 20 minutes had passed, and Addy realized they were really lost, and had no visual on the other demigods.  “Addy, I think we’re lost.”  Thacia echoed Addy’s thoughts.
“Of course we aren’t!!”  Addy replied, “I know exactly where we are!”
5 minutes later they entered the food court and saw Percy running to Thalia, Zoe, and Grover.  He shoute something about skeletons.  On cure the things entered from all exits.  “They look like a very dead dinosaur thing.”  Addy said to Thacia.
“I know!  But very clean dinosaurs.”  Thacia said.  They laughed.
  “Burrito fight!”  Grover shouted.
Addy and Thacia climbed in at the same time, “Burrito fight!”
Addy stated searching for any food she could find as a full on food war broke out.  Addy was having a blast.  She threw food everywhere.  “This is great!”  Thacia shouted.
“I know!  And we can’t get in trouble for starting it!”  Addy shouted back.
Amidst the enjoyment, Addy almost missed their group sneaking out.  Addy grabbed Thacia’s arm and then ran.  “Hey!  Let go!”  Thacia shouted, getting her arm loose.  “They’re leaving without us!”  Addy yelled in her face.
Addy took the lead again as they ran outside.  They made it just in time to see two giant bronze angel statues carry their friends away from a ring of skeleton warriors.  Addy looked at Thacia, “These were the angel thingies Athena made for Zeus right?”  she asked.
 Thacia nodded, “Yup!”
“Greeeeeeat.”  Addy said, very annoyed.  “Well, we’ll get to San Francisco however we want.”
“Yeah!  And it will be more fun!”  Thacia said.

With that, Addy turned on her heel and left to think of a plan to get to San Francisco.

The god's Junkyard

Here is the newest edition of Realm Walkers. Sorry about it being late, there will be a second post this month to make up for it. Hope you enjoy!

The god’s junkyard was amazing!  Thacia and Addy had been scavenging for it for forever!!!  Thacia had been dreaming, with a smug smile, of the time when they would FINALLY be able to go in!  But the stupid demigods weren’t listening to her and Addy for the hundredth time!!!  But whatever, Thacia would just ignore them back.  But, unfortunately, she didn’t have anytime to enact her revenge, because in that moment a speeding car barely missed her and the rest of the demigods.  Unfortunately, Thacia screamed along with the others in panic- breaking her record of no screams for a month.  After, a moment Thacia opened her squinted eyes to a blaring headlight.  She heard Addy’s voice beside her, “Freeze like a deer!”
Thacia and Addy froze in the headlights.  Thacia stayed frozen until she heard the driver get out of the car, and speak, “You screamed?”  he asked, disapprovingly.
Thacia frowned at the person who almost ran her over- who unfortunately happened to be Ares. “Yes, I did.  Do you have a problem with that?”
“No, daughter of mine screams.  You’re a disgrace.”  he turned his back to her, and Thacia glared daggers at him.
“Wait, what!?”  Grover shouted in disbelief.  “Your godly parent is Ares, the god of war?!”
“No!  Don’t you know!?”  Addy began to answer, “He calls everyone his daughter!”  she paused, “Of course, she’s his daughter, what do you think all her martial art skills came from?  Talent?  She had to have gotten it from somewhere.”
“You have martial art skills, Addy.  Is he your dad?”  Bianca asked.
Thacia laughed at the absurd thought.  “No!”  Addy answered, “You see, I have talent.”
“Hey!”  Thacia shouted, then punched Addy in the shoulder.
Thacia glanced over back to her dad, and saw he was shoving Percy into his car.  Thacia stood, “Hey dad, what are you doing!?”
“Relax, Thacia.”  Ares scowled, “Aphrodite just wants to talk to him.”
Thacia frowned deeper, then stood and stepped up closer to her dad, crossing her arms.  “So, how’s it been on Mount Olympus?”  she asked.
  “Shut up, kid.”
“How’s it been in California?  I saw you went to California.”
“I had pumpkin pie.”  he answered, a scowl on his face.
  “Pumpkin pie’s my favorite.”
“I know, I ate it just to torture you.”
“Well, I watched Sherlock.  Just to torture you.”  Thacia came up with a weak throwback.
  “I don’t like Sherlock.”
“She knows.  More Sherlock in the world tortures you.  There!!!”  Addy boomed out, siding Thacia in the argument.
“Good-bye.”  Ares stated as Percy climbed out of his car.
“Good-bye!”  Thacia shouted, and stomped away as her dad climbed into the car and took off.
Thacia brewed for a split second, then laughed, Addy broke into laughter also.  “I hate pumpkin pie!!”  Thacia gasped out.
“I know!”  Addy responded, “I always love yours and your dad’s conversations.”
____________________
Thacia and Addy did the happy dance together, as they jumped into the god’s junkyard, finally entering after all their years of looking and looking and looking.  They would find so many treasures, and nobody could stop them!  “Grover, don’t take anything.”  Percy told the satyr as he tried to chew on some old furniture.
Thacia’s eyes immediately fixed on Percy, and listened in shock of the conversation.  “Taking a thing from the god’s junkyard will trigger traps for us all.”  Zoe stated, agreeing with Percy.
Addy gasped, beside Thacia, “But that’s being mature!”
Thacia clapped her hands together, rubbing them, “We must not be mature!  We must steal the treasures!”
“No.”  Zoe stated again, as she walked by Thacia, proud and dramatic.
Thacia made a face, turning to Addy, who mouthed Zoe’s word, mocking her.  They began to laugh, but then Addy straightened, and Thacia straightened also, frowning dramatically.  “Shh, we must be mature.”  Addy said.
And with that, they walked into the junkyard like old monks.
For several minutes, Thacia resisted the itch to just take the precious treasures she saw all around her.  Eventually, she leaned toward Addy, and whispered, “I want them so badly!”
Addy nodded, her eyes wide with resist.  But with one nodding glance at each other the resistance in the two of them broke, and they scrambled for the hills upon hills of objects.  “Hey, you guys are gonna set off booby traps!!”  Thalia screamed up at Thacia and Addy.
“Oh, no need to be such a fuddy duddy!!”  Addy shouted back down, and Thacia jerked her head once vigorously, to agree.
“I swear you guys are more like Hermes’ kids!”  Thalia shouted back up in frustration.  “Get down here before you get us all killed!”
“We don’t need to listen to you!”  Thacia shouted down, then stuck out her tongue, from the corner of her eye, she saw Addy follow suit.
Despite her interjection though, they both climbed back down, and jump the last few feet.  Thalia glared at them both, the turned and stalked away.  Thacia smirked, and the two followed Thalia, keeping an eye for anything valuable.  After they were almost out of the junkyard, Thacia spotted some beautiful instruments of weaponry on the side, and elbowed Addy.  Addy smiled with delight, and they both quietly rushed over, snatching up the bow and arrows of Artemis, then returning to the walk of old monks.  They discreetly threw away their previous bow and arrows away as they walked, and continued.
Suddenly the sound of rusted metal rang in Thacia’s ears.  She spun on her heel, and found a large metal man beginning to attack the group.  “Metal man!”  Thacia shouted, warning the group, then quickly pulled an arrow from her quiver, and nock it.
Addy did the same beside her, while muttering to herself, “It’s the stupid treasures isn’t it!?  We set off a booby trap!  Great!  Just great!”
Thacia let the bow string slip from her fingers, flying toward the metal man.  From behind- as she continued shooting a volley of arrows- she heard Zoe confirm the metal man as a prototype of Talos.  “No idea who Talos is!”  Thacia shouted.
Thacia and Addy ran behind Talos, trying to get a better more paralyzing shot at him.  As they ran, Addy spoke, “Bianca just had a quick rapid conversation with Percy.  She said she stole a statue in the junkyard for some little brother.  So, she’s not the only one who stole something.  She tried to get rid of the statue, and of course nothing happened!”
Thacia and Addy halted behind the metal man, and took another shot- this time both hitting crucial wires, and slowing the hunk of metal down.  “We need to get rid of the bow and arrows.”  Addy shouted as Thacia sent a volley of three arrows at once.
“No way!”  Thacia shouted, “Did you see what I just did there!?”
Addy glared at her, and Thacia made a face as she picked up a rock and chucked it at the metal man.  “Bianca found a way to stop Talos, but she’d die!  Throw the stupid weapons down now, Thacia!!!”
An odd sound of dismay and annoyance came from Thacia’s suddenly gaping mouth, as she threw her brand new gorgeous weapons on the ground.  “Happy!?”  she shouted.
Addy nodded, and carefully set her’s on the ground also.  “Hey!  Nothing happened to the statue!”  Addy shouted, as she glanced back.
Thacia nodded with dramatic eyes at her remark, then stopped, when she heard a strange sound.  She glanced back behind her, and saw the statue stop, doing the chicken dance.  Behind Thacia, Addy began laughing, but she was to upset to join in and just watched in awe.  Then, the metal man fell over into the electrical lines.  Electricity jerked across it’s entire body, then died.  Thacia almost broke into laughter, when she glanced over to the group.  Four people were standing there, Grover, Thalia, Percy, and Zoe were standing still.  “Where’s Bianca?”  Thacia asked Addy.
Addy stopped laughing behind her, and they glanced at each other.  “Oh my gosh.”  Addy said, as they sprinted over to the others.  “Where’s Bianca?!”  they shouted as they ran.
When they joined the group, Zoe glanced at them with saddened eyes, “She’s gone.  She sacrificed herself to destroy the statue.”
Thacia’s mouth gaped open, and both she and Addy denied it at the same time, “You’re lying.”  they spoke.
