Sport cars and Bookstores

Here is the new installment of Realm Walkers from Addy's perspective. It is written by Eliana Maddox. Hope you enjoy these new adventure, enjoy!

Addy and Thacia sat together in a convertible Ferrari 458 Italia with the top down.  They had almost went to sit with Grover or Thalia but one thing lead to another- Addy got offended and they ended up by themselves.  “What kind of car did you say this was?”  Thacia asked, a little bit after getting in.
“A Ferrrrrr-AR-eeee 458 ItAAAlia.”  Addy said into Thacia’s face while slightly shaking her head.  She had beaten Thacia to the driver’s seat and was very much enjoying it.
  “You’re so immature!”  Thacia shouted.
“No, you are!!!”  Addy responded indignantly.
  “No!!!  You are!!!!”
They continued like this for a few moments, until Addy stuck her tongue out at Thacia.  Then, they started a face off, which only consisted of them making faces at each other and never concluded with a winner.  Addy was about to start taunting Thacia, when there was a flash behind them.  She turned around and saw none other than her own father.  When Thacia recognized him, she shouted, “Apollo!”
He smiled, then went through all the formalities of seeing someone; saying hello; asking how they were doing, ect.  Eventually the conversation turned to Addy and Apollo talking about sport cars.  She didn’t know why but she just really liked them.  Well, most of them some just looked dumb even if they were fast.  Addy could tell that the entire subject was lost on Thacia.  She thought some were cool, but that was about the extent of it.  Apollo wasn’t able to stay long and after he left Thacia turn to Addy.  “Did he not even notice that he was sitting on the back of the car?!”  It came out as more of a statement, than a question.
Addy tilted her head for a moment as she remembered.  “Well, no…”  she said.  “Wait, yes!  He did, and he said something about it, but that wasn’t until after you zoned out and quit listening.”
“Oh, did you even talk about anything other than sport cars?”
  Addy pointedly said, “Yes!”
  “Like what?”
“Ummm, we talked about his disguise.  Apparently he’s incognito,” They started laughing at the way Addy said it, and laughed even harder when she mentioned his alias was Fred.
Addy shot straight up in her seat when she remembered something else.  “Oh!”  she said, and Thacia looked alert.  “He also said that we shouldn’t keep the top down because it is not that great to be exposed to this kind of speed magic… or something like that.”
  “That’s stupid!”
“That’s exactly what I thought!”  Addy laughed and stuck her hands in the air to feel the wind, as there car was on the top.
Thacia joined in and they stayed in this manner until they reached their destination, or rather where the train stopped.  All of the passengers got off of the Sun West  Line.  They all split up in the little near empty town, Addy had no idea where anybody was going other than Grover was going to the coffee shop or something.  Since everybody seemed to have a job and Zoe had told them to stay out of the way, Addy and Thacia wandered aimlessly around the town.  Their first stop was a bookshop.
Addy started wondering about the world that both her and Thacia had previously believed to be a dream.  When she mentioned this to Thacia they both started to search frantically for any books that might clarify.  In their search for information they left books kying everywhere.  After a while of this and neither of them putting anything away, or even picking it up again after it was set down, the manager noticed and came up to them.  Addy was too focused to notice another presece in the store, let alone next to her.  “Excuse me.”  the manager lady said after clearing her throat, “But you cannot leave those antwhere you please without the intention of to put them away again.”
“Well, why not?”  Addy asked innocently.
“Why?  Because it is rude.  We do not allow ut for any of our other customers, why should you be treated differently?”
“Because we’re Demigods.”  Thacia said as indignantly as possible.
  “Come again?”  the manager asked.
Addy could see the thoroughly confused look in the manager lady’s eye, and decided she would enlighten her in the fastest and simplest way possible.  She quickly gave her the run down of the situation.  “You see, Demigods are children of the gods.  The gods of Olympus as a matter of face.  All of the greek gods of the pantheon are real and sometime, well it quite often actually, but anyways, sometimes they fall in love with mortals, not unlike yourself, and have children with them.  These children are refused to as Demigds.  We would be a couple prime examples.  Myself being a daughter of Apollo, an awesome god with the coolest car ever!”  she leaned over to the manager.
“”It is a sun chariot that can be any car you want.”  then she stood up straight to continue, “And she,” gesturing to Thacia with her thumb, “Is the daughter of Mr. Bloodbath Ares.”
  “Bloodbath!?!!??!  Ares is pretty cool!”
“Yes, Thacia, but Apollo is cooler.”  This started up a whole new argument, which the manager interrupted by calling over some HUGE guy to “escort” us out.
After a moment of being offended, Addy suggested they go to the cafe.  Thacia argued, so that’s where they went.  They ordered a couple of smoothies and sat down at one of the cafe’s computers.  “What is that up on the screen?”  Addy asked as she adjusted the chair she brought over.
“Some show called Sherlock… let’s watch it!”
“Okay, yeah.  Should we find the first episode, or just watch this one?”
“Um, I don’t know.  Let’s watch this one.”  Thacia said as she clicked play.
Addy watched eagerly.  It was interesting and was British, so the actors had cool accents.  “Bonus!”  she thought.
After two hour long episodes, and deciding this show was awesome, Addy let her small responsible said take over and they went to find the group they were traveling with.  They were found climbing on top of a giant pig.  “What did we miss?!”  Addy shouted as she and Thacia climbed onto the pig.
As they rode, they were filled in.  Percy was being hunted by some dinosaur people thingies that everybody helped fight off.  Though Bianca was the only one able to kill any.  Than they were attacked by this giant boar, which they ha somehow coaxed to carry the part of the way to where they wanted to go.  “Dangit!”  Thacia shouted when they finished, “We miss all of the fun!”
  “I know!”  Addy pouted.
Finally the Erymanthian boar stopped in the middle of the desert, Gila Claw, Arizona.  The all hopped off with saddle sores, and the boar took off in the other direction and eventually disappeared.  Addy turned around and noticed huge piles of stuff around.  “What’s that?”  Thacia asked.  Addy’s eyes widened.

“Thacia, I think we finally found the god’s junkyard.”
